I sent my PCC on Friday, got the sms from sap this morning saying "Received and is in process"

Every day I  check my emails like a thousand times looking for the "Next Step!"

Positive vibes........ sending positive vibes!!!  You know, I was thinking, It would be so fantastic if we could all get  together, down under, in time to come and share all our moments, laughing at ourselves for getting so anxious, sharing those funny moments we had, packing, travelling, unpacking, finding our first home, job, meeting the new neighbours, crazy things, sad things, terrifying things, all and every cherished moment!!

Ha ha!! Okay, I'm  done, just thought I would share........ Good night everyone, sweet dreams!!

@Elza

Me too buddy. Thinking of a way to create email addresses to TEST ImmI. :lol: We will meet up and have loads to share aout our anxieties .....our endless worries...... BUT NOT ONCE about what we left behind. We will have morals and laws again and those will be enforced properly. AND FREEDOM!!!! Free to work, free to WALK WITHOUT LOOKING OVER YOU SHOULDER WHO IS FOLLOWING YOU. Oh, I just can not wait to no longer hear about corruption, state capture, etc etc etc.  I just so wish that there was a special visa for moral integrity to Australia. Bet you they would not have had a problem processing those. Would have been very few applications for those :lol:

You two girls are keeping this thread alive ha ha. And I can feel your anxiety between the lines😔

Just to pep you up I can confirm that life over here is like a permanent holiday for us. We take long walks any time of day or night along the most beautiful paths along some water ways. Never felt unsafe once. Most people are friendly and greet you when passing. We’re very happy here.

There are still politics that will upset you. Like the preparation to vote now for a law that will not discern between gender. Kids will be given the choice to decide their gender from young and be fully enlightened about it in school. We all hope the population vote against the passing of this law.

Elza and Elna, any time soon now!

Holding thumbs😊

Hi Roomies

Had such a laugh today. I received an email and all I saw were these words "docs lodged" . I immediately assumed it was from Immi and called husband who came running. He thought the house was on fire. Told him check email from Immi!!! BIG disappointment, was not from Immi, was re sale of our house. :lol: See, this is what happens if one is one track minded. The little excitements get lost waiting for the BIG one. Moral of the story. Be grateful for every little bit of positive news in this horrifying state of the economy instead of putting ALL of our energy into anticipating THE E-MAIL.

Hope this helps all roomies a little bit. It is not easy for me to say this, but Roomies, one day at a time. We WILL get there. In the meantime,  just enjoy every day as if it is your last.

Sleep well and safe Roomies. Forget about the news and the Rand's decline and keep focussing on better things to come.

Hey @Elna57.... just read your post about your house sale! You make me giggle  now so nicely........... So very true are your words, even though we are all waiting and hoping day in and day out....... Yes we must not lose sight of living each day that passes, remember, make memories, do the things you never did before, that S.A.  bucket list..... then one day while we are living and making memories our wishes and dreams will begin to unfold!!! Gosh it sounds so simple and easy to do! Deep breaths bud, just deep breaths......

@Elna57 @Elza   All fingers crossed for you gals.  Keep up your spirits.

@Onthemove thank you.... You know the last little while I have been thinking of all the funny little things I do, that happen.... like when I did my finger prints, the guys like ... You are welcome to go there and wash your hands! Two steps and I could see there was no soap, no towels.... I'm  like, Really? Anyway I move on to pay at another office, she also  said, you welcome to wash! Again, no soap  or towels in her room... so when I put my hand out to give the money, she hesitated, not wanting to get her hands dirty.... I noticed, she noticed, and you know there was that split second when I thought, what if I hug her, grab and shake her hand, pat her on the back, Move some of her desk papers!!! I knew I was losing  it  at that moment, but it made me giggle, thinking of all those what would she do? And of course those  imagine if........ moments.....  So, today I decided to start like a diary of my daily happening connected to my process...... I think in a few years it will really be interesting readings....... I started with the fingerprints only and already have seven pages!!!

@Dirkz thank you for that added dream.,! My son in Australia  often talks about  that, the things we have to look forward to, to some people it's  normal, to us, the little frogs bobbing around in the boiling water it's  extraordinary, the stuff dreams are made of! Its our greatest wish.........Man I just can't wait!
